Join us for another outdoor adventure in Gatanga, Muranga County to explore yet another wonderful forest trail and waterfall. After a 1:30hr drive from Nairobi, the trail starts from an old fishing camp and leads to the forest full of indigenous trees. Led by the Kenya Forest Service rangers, the trail takes us through thick indigenous forest before crossing the Chania River. This is also the county border that puts us in Kiambu County, Gatundu North, backyard of the former Presidents home. The trek then turns us through multiple river crossing to the beautiful double-tier waterfall where we take our rest before heading back.
